Since 2020, our Name and Gender Marker Change Clinics have been instrumental in supporting over 200 individuals in the San Francisco Bay Area with the process of filing for name and gender marker recognition. These clinics provide crucial resources and guidance to individuals seeking to align their legal documents with their gender identity, ensuring accurate representation and acknowledgement by institutions, employers and service providers. By providing accessible and inclusive services, we empower individuals to navigate bureaucratic systems with confidence and with a support system.

the Ivory Nicole Smith Scholarship Fund
In memory of our beloved former staff member, Ivory Nicole Smith, we are proud to announce the establishment of The Ivory Nicole Smith Scholarship Fund.
This fund aims to sponsor the costs of passports for transgender and gender nonconforming individuals, removing the financial barriers for getting a passport and encouraging our community members to travel and explore the world. Awards will be granted on a first-come, first-serve basis, as funds for this program are limited. Stay tuned for more information on how to apply!
